We perform a SWOT Analysis to learn their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
As we evaluate each component in our competitor analysis (business, sales, and marketing), we should get into the habit of performing a simplified SWOT analysis at the same time.
This means we will take note of our competitor's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats any time we assess an overall grade.
Some questions to get us started include:
What is our competitor doing really well with? (Products, content marketing, social
media, etc.)
Where does our competitor have the advantage over our brand?
What is the weakest area for our competitor?
Where does our brand have the advantage over our competitor?
What could they do better with?
In what areas would we consider this competitor as a threat?
Are there opportunities in the market that our competitor has identified?
We will be able to compare their weaknesses against our strengths and vice versa. By doing this, you can better position our company, and we will start to uncover areas for improvement within our own brand.
Unlock exponential growth in your business, sales and revenue with an effective digital marketing strategy & system.
